Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful work of art. The image instantly brought me back in time to when I was a boy skating around the periphery of a frozen pond with a fresh glaze of ice upon it. My heart leaps with joy once again as I see the reflection of the beautiful eastern Massachusetts sky and trees sliding underneath me.

Thank You for my first Christmas gift of the year!

Hi Kate. I love this wallpaper. It really captures l'heure bleu. Great work. I'm going to download it and think of you everytime I look at it through this month. I love the extremes of the solstices. I think December is one of the most magical months out there with it's darkness and little lights. If there would be some snow I would love it even more. :) Here's to you. Thanks so much.

I love the way you've documented the evolution of this image! It's great to see the creative process in action, and the final product is wonderful. The blue is so luminous, it cheers up my winter gloom just looking at it.

Can't wait till blue skies return to this part of the world. Not too long until the solstice now!

I, too, am fascinated with time of year like Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice. During this time of darker days the light is every more precious. Happy Day, Kate :o) ((HUGS))
