How to Change the Wallpaper in Windows Vista

- Right click the desktop.
- Choose Personalize from the menu.
- In the window that appears, choose desktop background from the list of choices you see.
- The window will now show built-in wallpaper choices, click Browse to locate your newly downloaded wallpaper files.
- The browse dialog will appear, use it to locate the folder which contains your desired wallpaper, for example User\Pictures\Wallpaper. Click Open.
- The Desktop Background window will now display the contents of the folder your chosen wallpaper image resides in.
- Click OK. Your changes will immediately take effect.
