How to Change the Wallpaper in Windows XP

- Right click the desktop.
- Choose Properties from the context menu.
- In the Display Properties window that appears, click the Desktop tab.
- The window will now show built-in wallpaper choices, click Browse to locate your newly downloaded wallpaper files.
- The browse dialog will appear, use it to locate the folder which contains your desired wallpaper, for example My Pictures\Wallpaper. Click on the image you wish to use and then click OK.
- The Desktop tab on the Display Properties window will now reflect your chosen wallpaper image.
- Click OK. Your changes will immediately take effect.
