It's simple to customize the icons in Windows.
There is no need to worry about which version of
the system you are using, this tutorial works for
all operating systems! From Windows Vista to
Windows XP and the older, classic versions of
Windows operating systems.
When you customise your PC, it really helps if
you store all of your custom icons in a single
location so that you always have quick and easy
access to your icons.
Customizing Folder Icons
1) Right click the folder.
2) Choose Properties from the menu.
3) In the customize tab, press the "Change Icon"
button.
4) In the Change Icon dialog box, press the
"Browse" button.
5) Navigate to the icon you want to use.
6) Select it and press "Open".
7) Click "OK" and then "OK" again to apply the
change.
