Help, I Downloaded Something and Now I Don’t Know Where it is?

It’s good practice to save all your downloads to a single location, that way, you’ll always have quick and easy access to any download in seconds. To help you with that, you can specify where you want your browser to save files.

Make a folder called “Downloads” and put it in a convenient place. Then you can specify in the preferences of your browser that you want to save downloaded files to that folder.

Open the preferences of your browser. That will bring up a dialog much like this. Don’t worry if your menu looks a bit different, it varies depending on the internet browser you are using.

Now all your downloads will be saved into this folder making it easy to find them.
