You can adjust the size that your Mac displays your icons in three easy steps.
- In Finder go to View > Show View Options (or press Command-J).
- Use the slider to change the size so that it suits you.
- For a global change on all of your computer click “use as defaults”. If you want to change the size of the icons only on your desktop or in a certain folder, make sure not to click “use as defaults”.
Tip
You can also adjust the spacing between icons, the size of the text in your labels as well as the background colour of the folder.
