iPhone photography: Icicles
I saw these magnificent icicles when I staggered down to the store to restock the fridge with more orange juice and fresh ginger to beat the flu. The first week with the flu was wrapped in a haze, but as I’ve been getting better I’ve enjoyed:
- The last season of Lost
- Watching the blizzard through the windows
- Reading Barbara Kingsolver’s “The Lacuna”
- Listening to podcasts from Philosophy Bites
- The Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion that Santa put in my stocking. It delights the 8-year old in me.
How has 2011 been treating you so far?

Icicles are always cool. Except when everything is too frozen.
Flu however, is never cool. Good thing about getting it early usually means that you immune system is thru it and you won’t get it again until at least next year!

So sorry you’ve been under the weather, Kat! Be taking good care, and hope so much you will be feeling better very soon. Keep the ginger tea flowing… ;o) We’re under snow & icicles here too… It’s snowing this weekend. We’re having a “snowed in” weekend of reading, good food, mulled wine and the net radio. Happy Days ((HUGS))

Hope the juice and ginger does the trick – we have all been suffering here too and my sympathy for you is enormous! Take care and keep enjoying your recovery! I am off to check out that podcast – I have my first ipod in a package awaiting my birthday this week and podcasts is something I am looking forward to discovering! (I would love some more recommendations when you are feeling better?)….. xxx

OMG…the last season of Lost, the Lacuna…the flu doesn’t sound so bad after all! (of course I am kidding, I remember the dread of it all)
Isn’t that book amazing?
I am impressed you had the energy to snap a picture during your stumble to the store. It IS pretty!
