Digital Watercolours and Bespoke Handmade Work.
We wanted to liberate digital art from its confined space on a computer or smartphone. We wanted to bring it out into the open air and see what happened when you could touch it and use it. How could we turn digital art into something that would give you pleasure in your daily life?
That's how Anne Vilemsons and I came up with the idea to create The French Collection with 5 watercolour patterns painted on the iPad, printed digitally in an eco-friendly way on cotton-linen fabrics. Then we stitched our fabric into unique pieces of contemporary work that brighten your day.
Handmade meets digital art in our new collection of bespoke pieces.

iPhoneography - harnessing your creativity with your iPhone
When I got my first iPhone in 2008, I discovered iPhone photography. I started exploring the iPhone and iPad as a revolutionary canvas for expressing yourself creatively finding new, exciting ways of adding a creative layer to my daily life. Soon I started writing about instantly developing everyday magic here at Marmalade Moon, through a series of workshops, tutorials and guides, and student art shows.
In 2013 I gave a series of iPhoneography courses for Mobile Photography and Art at Marmalade Moon and I give workshops and talks on the topic.

On my portfolio site you can see some of my personal art work. Some created with natural media, some with my iPad, some is a fusion.
Icons and desktop wallpapers - from pixel art to vector art
Marmalade Moon first started out on a mission to help people create beautiful, simple desktops that help you get unstuck and organised so you can work with flow and ease through the day. During these years I offered free wallpapers and icons for you to download here at Marmalade Moon. Unfortunately, with the way the operating systems have changed, that's no longer possible for me to do.
