Legacy Icon Archive
iMac-G4 or the iLamp
Here’s a legacy icon archive with the icons that I designed for what now are “vintage” or “classic” operating systems. From pixel art to early vector and Photoshop creations.
A treat for the collector, this legacy icon archive includes everything from Hype Hair to Birds Eggs. I managed to salvage these icons before retiring my trusty old iMac G4, finding icons I’d created ten years ago, in 2000.
Please note that these icons don’t have the fancy large versions that are standard for modern operating systems which is why they look pixelated if displayed at larger sizes than they originally were designed for.
The Legacy Icon Archive includes: Assorted Icons, Autumn Leaves, Bird Cherry & Lilacs, Birds’ Eggs, CDs, Celebration, Christmas in Sweden, Citrus, Daffodils, Diskettes a la Copland, Eyes, Hieroglyphica (Egyptian hieroglyphs), Hype Hair, Knot Right? (How to tie a tie), Nasturtiums, Rose Petals, Sakura Cherry Blossom, Semla, Snow Flakes, Snowdrops, Tulips, Zip Disks a la Copland, SyQuests a la Copland.
