Thanks Michele! I actually sprained my ankle and it’s been pretty rough. Hurt like hell for the first four days and I’m not enjoying learning to use crutches in the heavy snow! With the little time left after feeling sorry for myself struggling in the snow, I’ve really tried to channel my energies into what is MOST important, to get some creative work done too… Sorry to sound so down! Guess that’s why I haven’t been blogging too!
Here in Sweden Valentine’s Day is a bit like Halloween, mostly an imported commercial holiday that people don’t feel truly connected with. I love Valentine’s though! What’s it like in Finland?

Glad you joined the Yahoo group! The idea was to replace the Ning group with a mailing list (plus forum) since people weren’t really visiting/using the Ning site, and the group seemed ready to sputter out. Let’s hope this works!
For Friend’s Day people do little things like send cards to friends, go out for coffee etc. It’s not particularly commercial, and I quite like the thought behind it. Will have to look up the history one of these days.
