iPhone photography: the maple tree in the early summer

Seasons. The constant transformation. I find it fascinating to go back and compare photos from the same spot but at different times of the year.

Always in transition. Movement. Gradual change. Through deep sleep and hibernation to abundant spring and summer. Harvest. Like the creative cycle.

  2. the fall pic is my favorite- but gosh, all times of the year have there own special things! the snowy trees are so sweet too and i never get to see that in real life!

  9. Happy Midsummer, Kate! I think the colors in the summer photo actually lends it a bit of an autumnal look (maybe because of the red brick?), but then of course there’s that startlingly green grass. So pretty.
