On My Mind in December
Autumn plants. Cyclamen, ivy and oak tree.
This year, autumn reaches into November. The cyclamen is still in bloom. Climate change so often on my mind.
The Ebb & Flow of Creativity: The tide is still on the ebb.
On my Palette: hot, cyclamen pink.
Pen and Ink: A few months ago, I started writing a journal, and I enjoy it so much. I barely ever go back and read it. But it gives me clarity, where fragments of thoughts can fall into patterns and new weaves can emerge. Sometimes I write letters in my diary. I think of journalling as its own space. A place to go with thoughts and feelings. My ink pen on paper. The sound. The physical aspect.
